About CON|X

Connecting young people to opportunity

CON|X was born from a simple belief: every young person deserves the chance to build a meaningful life, regardless of their past. We're bridging the gap between custody and community with technology, partnerships, and genuine support.

Our Mission

To reduce youth reoffending and improve life outcomes by connecting young people leaving custody with the housing, employment, education, and support they need to thrive, using technology as the bridge.

Our Vision

A future where every young Australian has access to the opportunities and support networks they need to build independence, regardless of their involvement with the justice system.

Community support

The Problem We're Solving

Young people leaving custody are set up to fail

In Australia, young people exiting youth detention face enormous challenges: unstable housing, limited employment prospects, disconnected support services, and social isolation.

Without coordinated support, many return to old environments and old patterns.

But research shows that with the right intervention at the right time, outcomes can dramatically improve. Young people need connection, opportunity, and a reason to hope.

It costs the government $1.2 million to house one young person in custody for one year. We are building a smarter alternative.

Our Approach

Technology with a human heart

CON|X combines the scalability of technology with the irreplaceable value of human connection. Our platform brings together service providers, employers, mentors, and rewards partners into one ecosystem focused on youth success.

Purpose-Driven

Every feature we build is designed to help young people succeed in practical, day-to-day life.

Transparency

We're open about our methods and progress, and we avoid claims that are not yet independently verified.

Respect

We honour the dignity of every young person. Our platform is built on cultural safety and understanding.

First Nations Commitment

Walking together towards reconciliation

Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander young people are significantly over-represented in the youth justice system. Addressing this requires more than good intentions, it requires genuine partnership with First Nations communities.

CON|X is committed to cultural safety in everything we do. Our platform includes dedicated First Nations content, connections to Aboriginal-led services, and cultural support programs.

We work alongside Aboriginal Community Controlled Organisations to ensure our approach is culturally appropriate and community-led.
